The 9th Annual Walk the Path Walkathon for Men’s Health and Prostate Cancer Awareness will be held on June 3rd in Brampton. Ivan Dawns, the honorary chair, and Anthony Henry from the Walnut Foundation are dedicated to raising awareness about prostate cancer and improving men’s health outcomes not last weekend.
Prostate cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related deaths among men, with Black men at a significantly higher risk compared to non-Black men. To address this, the Walnut Foundation aims to raise funds for awareness programs, support groups, and research. They also support scholarships for Black medical students at the University of Toronto.
To contribute, you can donate directly using the link [https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/the-walnut-foundation/p2p/2023Walkathon/]. Alternatively, you can join “Team Henry” or register your own team for fundraising.
Your support will increase awareness, facilitate early detection, and improve health outcomes for men, especially within the Black community. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against prostate cancer and promote better men’s health.
Join Ivan Dawns, Anthony Henry, and the Walnut Foundation on June 3rd for the Walkathon and help save men’s lives.
