Thirteen students to receive scholarships at United Achievers’ Award ceremony

Rasulan Hoppie, Coordinating Principal of the Peel District School Board, will be the keynote speaker at the 36th Annual Scholarship & Recognition Awards to  be presented by

the United Achievers’ Club of Brampton.

At its virtual presentation on Saturday October 3, the club will also observe its  40th anniversary.

Thirteen students will receive scholarships at the Awards ceremony.

The United Achievers’ Club of Brampton states that its aims are ” to raise  the profile and

consciousness of Black and Caribbean communities in the wider society, provide effective

and meaningful role models for our youth and encourage greater participation in community and political affairs.”
