Frank E. Walwyn received the 2013 Lincoln Alexander Award at the Law Society’s annual award ceremony in Toronto on May 29. The award was presented by Marni Beal-Alexander, the wife of the late Honourable Lincoln Alexander, PC, CC, OOnt, CD, QC, LSM. Dedicated to community service, particularly the Black community, Walwyn more than doubled the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers’ membership during his presidency. The award is presented each year to an Ontario lawyer who has demonstrated a commitment to the public and its well-being through community service.
