Toronto extends FIFA Fan Festival with added quarterfinal viewing day

Toronto soccer fans will have one more opportunity to experience the excitement of the FIFA Fan Festival™ as the City has added Friday, July 10, to the festival schedule, giving supporters another chance to gather for the FIFA World Cup™ atmosphere in the heart of downtown.

The festival gates will open at 1:30 p.m., ahead of the live broadcast of the quarterfinal match between Spain and Belgium, which begins at 3 p.m. Eastern time. While no live entertainment is scheduled for the additional day, visitors will still be able to enjoy the festival’s vibrant atmosphere, interactive attractions and more than 30 food vendors.

Throughout the tournament, the FIFA Fan Festival™ has celebrated Toronto’s multicultural character by featuring cultural programming that reflects the city’s diverse communities and honours many of the nations competing in the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

Information regarding general admission and premium tickets for the July 10 event will be released by the City. Premium tickets, which guarantee entry and provide access to exclusive viewing areas, will be available for purchase, while free general admission ticket releases will continue to be announced through the City’s @fwc26toronto social media channels.

The FIFA Fan Festival™ remains closed from July 6 to 9, although Nathan Phillips Square will continue at neighbourhood watch parties at cafés, restaurants and community venues across Toronto during non-festival days.
