Toronto Boat Show ends on the Sunday

By Stephen Weir

Mascots can go as bare as they dare at the world’s largest indoor lake, but all other performers have to wear bathing suits.

The Toronto International Boat Show is on until Sunday afternoon down at Exhibition Place. Hundreds of new boats are on display, and of course, there is Lake Wow. The hockey arena has been filled with water to temporarily create the world’s largest indoor lake. There are shows on the lake and opportunities to enjoy a free boat ride in new canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats.

There is no charge to take in the lake. Grab a seat in the stands to watch professional wakeboarders, wake skaters, and water-skiers perform shows all day long at the show. Children’s favourites show this year? The Crazy Mad Scientist Water Ski Show.

Kids ages 16 and under can attend the 2024 Toronto Boat Show for free! No ticket is required. The Go Transit mascot is at the show to remind parents that kids ages 12 and under ride free on GO Transit. Photo by George Socka
