Toronto calypso monarch competition put off

At press time, The Caribbean Camera learned that The  2017 Toronto calypso monarch competition, which was scheduled to be held on July 30, has been put off to  ” a date to be fixed” in October.

Pat McNeilly (Panman Pat), president of the  Organization of Calypso Performing Artists (OCPA), confirmed on Wednesday night that the competition has been put off.

He  said more details  will be available later.
