The King and Queen competition for the Toronto Caribbean Carnival dazzled attendees on Thursday at the Canadian Exhibition Place. As expected, the Caribbean community did not disappoint, showcasing an array of vibrant costumes that highlighted the richness of Caribbean culture.
While official results from the Festival Management Committee (FMC) are still pending, it is known that Tribal Carnival clinched the Queen of Carnival title, while the Louis Saldenah Mas K Club triumphed in the King of Carnival category.
The new facility at the CNE provided an exceptional backdrop for the event, with stage and lighting setups that enhanced the evening’s grandeur. The King and Queen showcase truly reflected Caribbean culture in its finest colors.
The evening kicked off with the junior King and Queen Winners, featuring young male and female individuals with their winning portraits, much to the delight of the audience. Although complete results are not yet available, it is clear that the TTC and GO Transit were the unsung heroes of the night, managing to transport thousands of additional riders smoothly.
