Toronto police have arrested a 45-year old man  in an ongoing child sexual assault investigation at a Scarborough daycare.

The arrested man, an early childhood educator, is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a child under the age of 16 in his care at Not Your Average Daycare.

The alleged incidents took place between April 2018 and December 2020, at 61 Dorcot Ave., near Midland Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East, the Donwood location of the daycare.

Ta-Hath Martin of Toronto was arrested on Jan. 4 lasst and charged with sexual interference and sexual assault.

Police said Martin  also worked at several other NYAD locations: Corvette, Midland, Guildwood, Scarborough Village, Progress and Donwood.

He is scheduled to appear in court on March 5.
