
The Toronto Kaiteur Lions Club will be celebrating National Flag Day with local community and schools National Flag Day next Wednesday, February 15th 2023.
The event will take place at L’Amoreaux Community Centre, 2000 McNicoll Avenue, 10:30AM – 11:30AM.
The event was made possible through the co-operation of our neighborhood schools. The intention is to bring awareness, dedication and respect to our National Flag.
The Lions would like to thank the following who assisted in making Wednesday’s event possible:
- The office of Jean Yip, M.P. Scarborough-Agincourt, which was
instrumental in securing supplies for this event
- P.P. Aris Babikan Scarborough-Agincourt
- Toronto City Councillor Nick Mantas through who made this outdoor community event possible
- Toronto school principals, teachers, students and community members of for their participation
- Toronto PRC Lions David Chan, MJF- Director, for laying the ground work for the project.
