West Indies in World Cup qualifier

The West Indies will take on New Zealand in the fourth World Cup Quarter-Final this Saturday (March 21) at Westpac Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand.

West Indies won their last game when they defeated the United Arab Emirates by six wickets last Sunday and qualified due to a better net run rate over Ireland.

In the first quarter-final, South Africa defeated Sri Lanka by nine wickets yesterday at Sydney Cricket Ground in Australia.

The second quarter-final between Bangladesh and India was to be played today (March 19) at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia while the third quarter-final was set for Australia versus Pakistan tomorrow March 20) at Adelaide Oval, Australia.

The four winners will clash in the two semi-finals. The first semi-final will be on Tuesday (March 24) at Eden Park, Auckland, New Zealand, and the second semi-final is set for next Thursday (March 26) at Sydney Cricket Ground.

The grand final is scheduled to be played on March 29 at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.
