West Indies will tour India

The West Indies is set to tour India in October and November. The schedule was recently revised and the touring West Indies team will play five One-Day Internationals, one T20 International and a three Test-Match series.

West Indies open their tour with two 50-over matches, the first on Oct. 3 against a Mumbai Presidents XI at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai, and then on Oct. 5 against a Mumbai Under-23 team at the Wankhede Stadium, also in Mumbai.

The rest of the itinerary:

  • Oct. 8, 1st ODI at Nehru Stadium, Kochi.

  • Oct. 11, 2nd ODI at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi.

  • Oct. 14, 3rd ODI at Dr.Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatham.

  • Oct. 17, 4 ODI at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharmasala. 

  • Oct. 20, 5 ODI at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

  • Oct. 22, Only T20 International at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack.

  • Oct. 25 ­- 27, Three-day match against an Indian Board President”s XI at Green Park,Kanpur

  • Oct. 30 – Nov. 3, 1st Test Match at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad.

  • Nov. 7 – 11, 2nd Test at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.

  • Nov. 15 – 19, 3rd and Final Test at Sandar Patel Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad. 

West Indies touring squad will then travel to South Africa to play three Tests, three T20Is and five ODIs. They open their tour Dec. 10 – 12 with a three-day warm-up match against a South Africa Invitational XI.
