What if Hillary Clinton is forced to drop out of the race?
Dear Editor:
I’m going out on a limb and making a huge prediction: Joe Biden could very well be the next President of the United States.
No, I’m not losing my mind nor losing my grip on reality. Why am I making this seemingly outrageous prediction? Lend me your ear. Bear with me. Here is my reasoning (if you want to call it that).
Hillary Clinton is the nominee of the Democratic Party in the race for the Presidency. But serious issues regarding her health have raised questions about her fitness to be the Democratic standard-bearer and indeed the next President of the United States.
Mrs. Clinton’s health is now a matter of great concern. She has made 9/11 one of her signature issues. On Sunday, as she participated in the 15th anniversary ceremonies in New York, Mrs. Clinton fell ill and had to be spirited away quickly. She would not have left the ceremonies unless she absolutely had to.
In fact, video shows her near collapsing as Mrs. Clinton was being taken into her waiting vehicle. It is not the first time that she has shown signs of deteriorating health. It has happened several times in recent months. And, with gruelling campaigning and debates in the offing, Mrs. Clinton may not be able to stand up to the rigours of the hustings.
The time is fast approaching, if not already here, that Mrs. Clinton and The Republican nominee, Donald Trump, must release their medical records. For the Democratic nominee, she may now have no choice but to release the medical records and perhaps get a thorough medical examination to try to assure the country that she can handle the job.
It is only a matter of weeks, if not days, before the upper echelons in the Democratic Party start thinking of who will replace Mrs. Clinton if she is unable to continue and forced to drop out of the race for medical reasons. I’m sure the whispering is going on behind the scenes now. This could reach a crescendo very quickly. A tsunami of concern is gaining momentum and could be a monsoon in a jiffy.
Yours truly,
Trevor Bindoo
I’m guessing that in the bid to keep Mr. Trump out of the white house, the Democratic inner circles will be taking a good look at Joe Biden. There must be some mechanism within the rules of the Democratic Party that could give the nod to Mr. Biden.
My sense is that Donald Trump will meet a formidable opponent in the Vice President…much more perhaps that Mrs. Clinton is at the present time, especially now that Mr. Trump is creeping up on Mrs. Clinton in the national popularity contests known as opinion polls. I think Mr. Biden will leave Mr. Trump in the dust and run away with the Presidency.
In my mind, the video of Mrs. Clinton stumbling into her waiting limousine to be whisked away could very well cost her the Presidency.
Yours truly,
Trevor Bindoo
