What’s on for carnival weekend

 An exciting 3 day event filled with music, food, and mas

Dates:  July 30th from 2PM to 12AM, July 31st from 2PM to 12AM and August 1st, 2pm-10PM.

Location: 520 Progress Ave, Scarborough Town Centre.

COVID protocols and restrictions will be enforced.

Carnival

Don’t miss the Mas Band models that will appear throughout the day to interact with the crowd as well as on stage. They will be showing off their beautifully costumes that took months to prepare.

The TCC Face of the Festival 2021, Lateisha Williams (aka @carnivalbae) will also make an appearance.

Toronto Caribbean Carnival (TCC) has partnered with Street Eats Night Market to produce Carnival Weekend’s Grand Finale from July 30th to August 1st.

Located in Scarborough Town Centre, Street Eats is Canada’s largest series of food truck parks serving global cuisines. It’s an incubator and accelerator that support the most promising independent Canadian food businesses.

In partnership with TCC, food trucks and local Caribbean food vendors have the opportunity to share their favourite dishes and expand upon the Carnival Flavours program.

There will also be a Carib Beer Tent and cultural entertainment featuring Mas, Pan, and Calypso to keep the spirit of Carnival alive.

General admission is FREE; however, tickets are 90% sold out online already and they are limited at the door.

Friday, July 30th starting at 2pm will feature DJ Soca Sweetness;  DJ DOC with host  Kevin Carington;  Reggaecise; Freedom Mas Band; Epic Carnival; Toronto Revellers; calypsonian Guney; New Dimension Steel Orchestra;  and 21st Century Carnival Display Pannist – Thadel Wilson (at Food Trucks Market).

Saturday, July 31st : DJ – Dr. Jay as MC/Host  after the Official Greetings Jaxx;  Venom Carnival; Carnival Nationz; Saldenah Carnival; Pan Fantasy

Steelband with DJ Audiotainment.Then MC/Host – SKF takes to the stage to bring Dance Caribe;SugaCayne Mas; Sunlime Canada; Tribal Carnival; pannist Garett Burgess (at Food Trucks Market); and 21st Century Carnival Display along with Moko Jumbies.

Sunday, August 1st:  DJ Maceo; Connector; Costume Creators Fantazia Carnival; Macomere Fifi; Island Accent Steelband; Pannist Antonio Mortimore (at Food Trucks Market)
