Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake who won a silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and is the second faster man in the 100 and 200 metres, will make his debut as a gospel singer at the Yohan Blake Gospel Concert in Toronto on Sunday.
Blake who is widely considered to be the heir apparent to Usain Bolt, will be among several of Toronto top gospel performers at the concert. They include Jimmy Lalla, Amoy Levy, the APC Youth Choir, Kay Morris, Kathy Ann Charles and saxophonist Dave McLaughin
The event which will be held at the Faith Sanctuary Pentecostal church at 1901 Jane Street, begins at 7 p.m.
Proceeds from the concert will be used for the purchase of incubators for babies in Jamaica.
