ZATTIC celebrated its 10th Annual Picnic on the lush grounds of Centennial Park in Etobicoke. The event commenced with a prayer of thanksgiving, and homage was paid by the singing of our National Anthems of Canada, and Trinidad and Tobago! Opening remarks by Reynold Ramdial (President) reiterated ZATTIC’S history as an Association that seeks to encourage compatriots of the Caribbean, Canada, and elsewhere, to come together as a Family of People to serve for the betterment of our Countries. The release of white racing pigeons honored this important event, as depicted in the photographs. Caribbean sounds featured Calypso, Reggae Oldies, and Live Singing with Guitar Accompaniment!

ZATTIC’s 10th Anniversary celebration brought family, friends, neighbors together in conversation to share in togetherness, food, friendships and laughter, including the celebration of two birthdays. The Organizing Committee paid special attention to the Children, featuring activities such as cricket, soccer, frisbee throwing, watermelon eating, three-legged races, and face-painting. Refreshments were complimentary, and prizes were given out to the children. Their smiles gave way to applause, and encouragement from the gathering’s adults.

ZATTIC cordially invites you to join our Organization of Family and Friends. We meet during the Fall and Winter months on the 2nd Sunday from 1pm – 3pm beginning in September. We look forward to reconnecting, planning for future events, listening to historical and current information that helps to educate us as citizens of our community. Camaraderie, socializing, music, and refreshment always follow!

Our 10th Anniversary celebration continues with our Annual Christmas Dinner and Dance on Saturday 16th November, 2019, featuring a Live Parang Band, and music to get you dancing!
